Pump construction materials – depending on the nature of the fluid to be pumped: matters to consider include viscosity, toxicity, corrosive or other hazardous nature, level of suspended solids, debris, etc.
Appropriate pump type – close coupled, self-priming, submersible, etc.
Associated pipework: Including correct sizing for duty flow rates, pumping heights and distances, necessary valves for isolation and maintenance, non-return valves, etc.
Control and pump protection functions: For example to ensure that pumps cannot be run dry or at inappropriate times – by examining and understanding the entirety of the process or operation. We also examine the need for interlocking of pumps with other associated equipment to ensure process safety and security.
We also offer a range of Inverter packages to provide total control over pump speed, liquid level control and the integration of pumps into more complex control systems. Please ask for further information.
