Flocktons TVP offer a wide range of degassers designed to reduce carbon dioxide during water treatment. This is done by passing the untreated water through media whilst blowing air in the opposite direction against the flow. The resulting transfer of gas within the tower whereby the water and air mix removes the acid forming carbon dioxide. All models are designed to reduce carbon dioxide content from 200ppm to 5ppm.
Our Standard range of degassers are supplied with a sump tank which is connected to the tower to allow a 2 minute (approx) retention time, however a non standard size sump can be accommodated on request. Models vary from 6 cubic metres up to 200 cubic metres per hour, however non standard designs can be accommodated backed up by our in house design team.
Standard range degassers are fabricated from polypropylene designed and built to BS EN 12573. Each unit has been designed bearing in mind simple installations on site with flanged connections, connecting the sump to the tower.Built in the UK
